Hi all! I would use a second folder for the blinking light texure so you can use 2 types:
1 is the stock nano fx blinking light (es. for the navlight in saucer section)
2 is stxi lensflare effect blinking light (es.for end warp)
Not change time ecc.. but simply select the texture..should be a matter of script!

it's too hard to do??

thanks cheeky

Actually it's very easy, and you don't even need to add a second folder. Just name the lensflare blinker texture whatever you'd like to name it (for example lets say lensflare.tga) and drop it into the existing folder.  Now all you have to do is go into the hardpoint of the ship you'd like to change and scroll down to the blinkers.  You'll see a line towards the end of each one:

"scripts/Custom/NanoFXv2/SpecialFX/GFX/Blinker/Blank.tga"

rename "Blank.tga" to "lensflare.tga" (or whatever you named it) on all the blinkers you want to change.

That should do it.

I would ask at BCS. There are more scripters familiar with NanoFX there.

I'm afraid that won't work. IIRC correctly, Nano was going to expand on the blinkers but didn't get round to it.
I beleive the effect is hardcoded into NFX2b.

I did not think that adding another folder than the default in the script could be so difficult!

It makes no difference. NFX2 just use the texture as a placeholder. Its not actually used when creating the blinker.
