For some reason I forgot how to change my settings in 3Ds Max 9 so that I could see the mesh lines at all times ..even when adjusting verts

If anyone knows how to do it..please let me know..

It's either F3 or F4. I always get the 2 mixed up. One switches between wireframe and textured, and the other (when in textured) shows edges like in that pic.

Its F4. F3 changes between Wireframe and Textured. Or you can right click on the text on the top left corner of the viewport and click on Edged Faces.

Wow...simple.. my kid was hitting my damn keyboard buttons...havent had to change anything in it for a while..lol...thanks for the help guys!

In 3DS Max 9, in any of the view ports, you can simply right click on the top left corner to see the full list of available view types. Edge Faces seems to be the one you wanted.

Or you can right click on the text on the top left corner of the viewport and click on Edged Faces.
