U.S.S. Rivendale  NCC-1742     Sequoia class   wink

Great work so far cinqnic! Very original design, I like. I was wondering though if you thought about thinning out the naccelle pylons to a more stream lined shape? I think their a bit unnecesarily too widely flat from the top view. Those mesh parts though that you grabbed from DJ's ship are so perfect for this project of yours(matching textures and all)I really hope DJ let's you use them as that would simply put the cherry on top for this baby, he seems a bit lenient with his policy considering he allowed acid to port his Sun Tzu class to Legacy(maybe you'll have as much luck).

How about the U.S.S. Sultan

Shaping up nicley.  The Nacelles do look a bit rigid on this design though.

I still think "USS Australia", Commonwealth class. (that'll give anything with "commonwealth" a fair chance at Trek Posthumosity)

Edit: I asked my mum to take a look, and she called it a frog.  so mabey USS Bufo?

best line I've ever read
Me: mine [my bridges] would probably be simple to get the characters to use.  the only person that sits is the captian.

The 1st ship design used all of DJ's stuff but this is now all my own work the colour might be the same has DJ's ship but thats as far as i would say, i have use all my own meshies/ models and textures, the design idea do come from DJ's great work just look at my Sarbe refit i think that that ship looks Like DJ's stuff just not as good as his work.
any way i hope people do like the ship.

I think I know what's really affecting the ship design. The connecting pylons are just too wide and it really is affecting the ship's silhouette. It just looks flat, fat, and awkward. If you shorten the engineering section, and make the pylons less wide, then the ship might start shaping up more. Right now it looks like it's entering warp.

Give the ship a French name and it will all come together.
