I've recently upgraded to KM and was admiring and drooling at the system packs that came with it.  this gave me a couple ideas of my own, and I was wondering where I can find a system making tutorial nowadays.  the thread at filefront's section for BC is not only locked, but cleaned out (there's nothing in it, I'm assuming it was vandelized or attracted spambots), and BCS is members only with nearly everything.  since I know that 75% of you guys hang out at BCS forums anyway, I was hoping somebody could point me without going through a lot of Horsehockey on a forum I'm not likely to bother with too often.

Those BC Files/Filefront tutorials have been like that for years. System making is one of the few things that still needs to be done in notepad. The only thing you can really do is play with the numbers in your Scripts/Systems/*your system name here*/*your planet here* directory, there's no little "easy program" for it. My advice would be to download the Cardassian System on BCFiles and study that, it has the custom system and the necessary plugins.

 funny
I'm not looking for a PROGRAM, I'm looking for someone who can define all the numbers in the settings for the stars, for example.  sort of a FAQ, rather than an actuall program.  someone who's made a system and would let me crib their notes.

I will look into it. I can tell you though that you can learn a lot from BC's "EDIT" mode. It essentially allows you to add objects, waypoints, and lighting to a map to test your ideas.

When you have the dev console enabled, type Edit() into the console while in QB.
