Can anyone tell me how to add Starforce Ships into KM1.0, and how to install The ships into STBC all together?

I still use BCMP. BCUT is too L33t for simple Finn like me.

BCUT is better than BCMP it even comes with lots of docs for you to read... you could say it's noob proof.
BCUT also comes with fixes so you don't run into the same issues that BCMP has.

I bet it does.. but somehow, I just can't bring myself to trust into it. must be the cold color theme it has. BCMP has warm, comfy colors. grin

I know, I checked them out. I'll try it out when I feel like getting BSOD and reinstalling BC+KM for the umpteenth time. cheeky funny

-.- BSODs don't 99% of the time require a reinstall.

for me, it's usually faster than trying to figure out what is actually wrong.  cheeky I'm a car mechanic, not a tech support super hero.  wink

usually BSODs are caused by typos or missing files... a simple console report would take seconds.

but I think we hijacked this thread long enough lol
yeah back to the topic...

Installing ships are all the same unless they require another mod... that should be listed in the read-me
the best program to use to install ships is the BCUT

if only I'd understand what those reports say..  frown oh well, now I know whom I should harass when the next BSOD appears.. last one was triggered by Kelvin Fleet pack.. don't ask me why. I deleted everything related to it from the install, still a BSOD.. did a reinstall instead. far more simpler than digging around files to find what is missing, misplaced etc.. I'm lazy like that.  grin cheeky

Also, one shouldn't underestimate stupidity of modding noobs..

if uninstalling the suspect file didn't help than most likely it's not the culprit, usually reports tell you exactly what's wrong, if you have a BSOD you can't understand, feel free to post it here, that's what the tech support thread is there for.

You said you're a mechanic, so I'm going to use that as a metaphor, if you've got a car that doesn't work, do you buy a new car, or try and figure out what's wrong with this one?

roger and wilco. However, I still cannot understand why Kelvin Fleet triggered BSOD.. wtf maybe it was just too awesome.. or perhaps I shouldn't had used BCMP to install it..  cheeky

I shall do that when I try to install it again, especially if it gives the BSOD..

Why on earth did you use BCMP to install ships from Kelvin fleet ??? most if not every ship mod nowadays have pre-made plugin that enables ship in game (back in 2002-2006 you had to manualy create one with BCMP) so there is no point in 'installing' ships via BCMP or BCUT which were released from 2006 to 2009...
